SentinelVision Pro ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPIA) and all applicable South African data protection laws. 1. Information We Collect

We only collect personal information that you provide voluntarily when you:

  • Submit the contact form on our website (name, email address, message)
  • Submit an order request (name, email address, phone number, property type)
  • Request the installer download (name, email address, use case, camera count)

We do not collect any information automatically. We do not use cookies, analytics trackers, or any form of passive data collection on this website.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide solely for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your enquiry or support request
  • To process your license order and deliver your activation key by email
  • To send you the installer download and setup guide
  • To contact you about your order if we need additional details

We do not use your information for marketing purposes. We do not send newsletters or unsolicited emails.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade or share your personal information with any third parties except:

  • Web3Forms: Our website contact and order forms are processed by Web3Forms (web3forms.com), a third-party form service. Web3Forms receives and forwards your form submission to our email address. Please review their privacy policy at web3forms.com/privacy.

All other processing — including our email correspondence — happens solely within our control. No other third parties have access to your personal information.

4. Your Video Data

SentinelVision Pro software processes camera video feeds locally on your own hardware. We have no access to, do not transmit, and do not store any video footage, snapshots, detection events or camera configurations from your installation. All of this data remains entirely on your device on your premises.

5. Data Retention

We retain email correspondence (including order-related emails) for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil your order and provide support. If you request deletion of your personal information, we will remove it from our records within a reasonable time.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure or loss. Our email communications are protected by standard email encryption provided by our email service provider.

7. Your Rights Under POPIA

As a data subject under POPIA, you have the right to:

  • Request access to your personal information held by us
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Object to the processing of your personal information
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa

This website does not use cookies. No tracking cookies, analytics cookies or advertising cookies are placed on your device when you visit this website.

9. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed at persons under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently received information from a minor, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
